Vice President of Finance Sarah Kolbeck Recognized as Top 25 Women in Business Honoree

At Epicosity, we believe that great team members are those who dive in and foster growth. That’s why we’re beyond proud to celebrate that our Vice President of Finance, Sarah Kolbeck, has been recognized as a Top 25 Women in Business honoree in 2025. Her dedication and passion for her team inspire those around her.

All growth starts with a seed, and Sarah has a remarkable way of cultivating growth in everything she touches. She is a true cornerstone of our community — a nurturer, a builder and a force for flourishing. Whether it’s her career, volunteer work, family or the hundreds of plants she tends to at home, Sarah’s impact is unmistakable: she leaves everything stronger, fuller and thriving.

Finding the right professional path wasn’t immediate — just like her 200+ plants, Sarah knew that growth depends on the right environment. She dedicated time to a few different places, each experience shaping her journey, before finally discovering where she could truly take root.

That moment came in 2014 when she stumbled upon a job posting for an Office Manager at Epicosity. It was the seed of something incredible. She became our 13th employee, stepping into a small but ambitious company. Nearly a decade later, she’s helped shape Epicosity’s evolution — rising from Office Manager to Operations Director to Vice President of Finance. As we recognized her talent, she saw the potential in Epicosity, and together, we grew.

Sarah has been instrumental in strengthening our company’s foundation — bringing in more employees, more business and more opportunities. Her efforts have helped cultivate a thriving workplace, earning awards, onboarding clients, streamlining systems and setting us on a path to continued success.

Beyond her work at Epicosity, Sarah dedicates time to the Sioux Falls Curling Club, where she serves as treasurer. Just as she nurtures everything else in her life, she’s helping shape a future where the club has its own ice rink — laying the groundwork for competitions and community engagement.

Her dedication extends into her personal life, too. She has guided her children toward success, watching them flourish as they pursue their education at Augustana University and the South Dakota School of Mines. And, true to her nature, she continues to nurture every seed — both in her ever-growing garden and in the people, projects and passions that surround her — ensuring each one reaches its full potential.

Congratulations, Sarah, on this honor! We’re happy to have you as one of our leaders and a valued team member.
